Iced Tea Lemonade

For me this is best in the morning, noon, evening, night and even in the middle of the night. On a crazy hot day having my hand wrapped around the frosty glass filled with chilled refreshing drink; is itself healing and refreshing!!

Making Iced Tea Lemonade is easy, really very easy! You really don’t need to rush to buy it from store; you can make it in minutes by yourself. All you need is some fresh lemon juice (frozen works perfect as well), some tea and sweetener of your choice… You are good to go. You can jazz it up with fruit juice or flavor tea bags but I like to keep it simple the old fashion way, just some tea and lemonade…

So when you need a stunningly refreshing drink, make it and I can assure you will make it again n again n… Enjoy!!!

Iced Tea Lemonade

  • Tea bags – 2 (regular, any brand, non flavored).
  • Water – 1 cup (boiling) + 2 cups plain.
  • Lemon juice – ½ cup.
  • Sugar – 1 cup (skip the sugar if you want to use sugar free sweetener).

  1. Pour 1 cup of boiling water over the tea bags; let the tea bag steep for 5 minutes. Remove the tea bag from the jar and set aside the tea.
  2. To make lemonade, in another jar or large bowl, add lemon juice, remaining water and sugar. Mix well till all the sugar is dissolved (If you are not using sugar, just mix water and lemon juice).
  3. Add the tea to the lemonade, cover and let it chill completely before serving.
  4. Serve with some crushed ice or ice cube, Enjoy!
