Crispy Salt and Pepper Tofu

We celebrated our 8th wedding anniversary and honestly I feel we are doing pretty good…. Sometime I still can’t believe that I am old enough to be a wife and a mother. Really when did this happened, it feels like only few days ago that I was busy being young and successful career woman with absolutely no time to be married. But then I met Mr A, came along love and rest is history. Almost a decade and 2 kids later, we both still sometime look at each other wondering when it all happened.

Our anniversary dinner is always with our kids at home, nothing fancy yet so cozy and absolutely wonderful. Let me tell you, marriage is not about two people, it is about the family and that’s what makes it special and worthy to work for.

Crispy Salt and Pepper Tofu is a dish enjoyed by everyone in my home, easy and delicious it always makes its way to the special dinners at our home. Making a delicious tofu dish is truly an art, I agree some people may find tofu absolutely bland. But trust me with right seasoning and flavors, tofu taste absolutely divine. I by no mean claim myself to be a tofu expert but I can say I have mastered at least few dishes to get me enough respect from the tofu lovers.

This dish speaks for itself, crispy fried tofu tossed in subtle yet highly flavored combination of ingredients is a delicious dish for entertaining or enjoyed at any time. You can make all the different parts of the dish ahead of time and just toss them together when ready to serve.
